For years working as a Licensed Professional Counselor, I looked like I had it all together — busy career, growing family — but when I crawled into bed at night, my brain wouldn’t shut off. Even when life calmed down, my body didn’t know how to. I was exhausted and frustrated, and nothing I tried gave me real, lasting relief.
What started as a personal mission to reclaim my own sleep during an incredibly stressful season became something much bigger. One of my clients once said she felt like she needed to “send out an SOS” for her sleep — and that moment stuck with me. It reminded me just how many people are lying awake at night feeling overwhelmed, wired, and worn out.
